While my refinishing wood floors, proper technique is to use a tack cloth after 1 coat of poly?
I applied the 1st layer of polyurethane, let it dry and sand now. After removing the dust w / a vacuum, I use a tack cloth to clean and remove any remaining Dust and dirt? Because the tack cloth seems to be soaked in a petroleum-based liquid of some kind, I wonder if the chemical in the fabric will adverse effects when combined with the last coat of polyurethane.
Yes - - all the little dust must be removed.
