Powder, Epoxy and other Protective Coatings

Any epoxy paint products we use, the procedure remains the same. Application of epoxy coating to your garage floor can be covered in three major steps. Passing through the procedures, do not forget to wear gloves and goggles.

Preparation and Engraving Plant

Let's deal first with the walls of the garage. Paste plastic sheeting on the walls to the height at which to apply the epoxy. If you only want to apply epoxy on the floor, then put the plastic on the wall near the floor. Then sweep the entire area and remove all dirt and dust. Do this thoroughly, and do not forget to clean the corners and also seams.

After we have ensured that the garage floor is free of dust, it's time to record the word. We mix a solution of engraving water in a shower. Follow the manufacturer's instructions in the etching solution and not forget to wear protective gloves, rubber boots and safety glasses.

In First, wet the ground before pouring the solution recorded in the far corner of the garage level. Pour the only solution in a 10x10 area square feet. The application of the upper layer

We prepare the top layer of the mix hardener and clear top coat. Make sure the two are mixed well before putting it aside for 30 minutes from the sun. When ready, stir again for one minute before application to soil.

Apply the top layer, as how you apply the epoxy paint before. Cover corners and edges first with a brush, and then use a roller to apply throughout the floor. Remember to do it section by section in one direction and then again in a perpendicular direction. When this is done, we all have to do is let it dry for at least 24 hours.

It is recommended that you hire a professional in the application of epoxy paint your garage floor. This is especially true if you've never tried this before, and you want your garage floor to be as perfect as possible.
