These days, car waxes forms a protective layer, thin as 0.004 to 0.006 inches.
The application of car wax is the best way to protect your car from dust or corrosion caused by water. It takes about 30 minutes to apply car wax, which was to last about three to four months, even given a wash once in two weeks. There are two types of wax available these days, paste and liquid. They differ primarily in the amount of solvents. Hard Carnauba is diluted with solvent to produce a paste or diluted to produce more liquid form. When you apply a paste form, the friction of the application helps to melt the wax and the solvents evaporate. A liquid wax typically contains volatile solvents that evaporate when applying the wax. The excess wax left on lubricants, adhesives excess solvents and anything else that is left is the layer that is polished to reveal the unique wax. And more polished shiny leaves the car.
